The Experience of Providing End of Life Care at a Children’s Hospice: A Qualitative Study

There is a lack of published literature on the symptom management of actively dying children. Writings on the experiences of professionals caring for this population are even scarcer. In this research article, authors McConnell and Porter explore the impact of providing hospice care to children on staff within a hospice setting, how they cope, and draw recommendations.
