The Palliative Care Network of Wisconsin (PCNOW) provides peer-reviewed, evidence-based summaries of key palliative care topics (“Fast Facts”). This Fast Fact will review the Palliative Prognostic Index (PPI), which combines elements of the Palliative Prognostic Score (PaP) and Palliative Performance Scale (PPS) to offer validated prognostic information to clinicians specific for patients with advanced cancer.
