Palliative Care Fast Facts on Oxygen, Fentanyl and Schizophrenia

The Palliative Care Network of Wisconsin (PCNOW) is an organization dedicated to increasing the availability of quality palliative care services for people facing serious illness and resources for health care professionals.  PCNOW provides peer-reviewed, evidence-based summaries of key palliative care topics (“Fast Facts”). Three new Fast Facts are now available. Fast Fact #330 reviews high-flow oxygen therapy for hypoxemia respiratory failure and dyspnea.  Fast Fact #331 compares immediate-release fentanyl formulations for pain, and Fast Fact #332 describes the palliative management of patients with schizophrenia.
