Three new palliative care Fast Facts and Concepts are now available!

The Palliative Care Network of Wisconsin (PCNOW) is an organization dedicated to increasing the availability of quality palliative care services for people facing serious illness and resources to health care professionals.  PCNOW provides peer-reviewed, evidence-based summaries of key palliative care topics, terms “Fast Facts”. Three new palliative care Fast Facts are now available. Fast Fact #327 reviews topical treatments for acute and chronic wound pain.  Fast Fact #328 discusses naloxone for outpatients at risk of opioid overdose, and Fast Fact #329 describes various abuse-deterrent opioid formulations and their role in palliative care.
