The world has changed dramatically in the past four months, but some things remain the same such as the need for high quality, compassionate end of life care. As we move through these interesting times, we are forced to develop creative solutions for delivering the same high-quality care that is expected from hospice providers.
In the healthcare industry, change is imminent and unavoidable but 2020 has proved most challenging, physically and emotionally, for providers, patients and families alike. As we move forward through the COVID pandemic, hospice providers must take time to reflect and use what they have learned to prepare, contingency plan and retool the delivery of end of life care.
Hospices must face the challenge of constant change but also continue to hone their expertise to achieve excellence. The 2020 KAHPC conference will cover a full range of engaging topics and speakers. The goal of the conference is to provide insight and tools to help attendees keep pace with what is going on in and around the hospice and palliative care industry.
